Brownfields Assessments, Northwestern Connecticut

HRP Associates, Inc. has been selected to provide consulting services for a Downtown Brownfields Assessment Program. The program, funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, is an integral part of the $100 million revitalization of city’s central business district.

HRP is currently conducting site assessments and remediation of known or potentially contaminated sites and providing the City with technical assistance, along with promoting awareness of Brownfields issues to residents. The initial properties being investigated are a dam and former manufacturing sites.
