National Tool
and Appliance Manufacturer
HRP has developed a computerized EMIS for a national,
multi-facility tool/appliance manufacturer. The system is
installed on the corporate intranet and accessed by users with
varying security rights located at eight facilities nationwide.
The project involves the following:

Researching
and inventorying internal procedures and processes.

Customization
and installation of a corporate wide Material Safety Data
Sheet management system in both English and Spanish.

Customization
and installation of a corporate wide document management
system.
-
Customization
and installation of a corporate wide calendar system
designed for task and deadline scheduling and tracking.
National
Pharmaceutical Concern
HRP is developing a highly customized environmental task
management and task performance tracking system for a
national pharmaceutical concern. This system is designed as an
intranet based solution to ensure that all environmental
compliance related tasks are identified, implemented and
reported according to an established schedule. The system
includes:

The ability to
assign tasks and include information concerning the
responsible person, frequency of event, due date, facility,
and task description.

An e-mail
notification and reminder system.

Task
reporting capabilities including the status of
individual items.
Global Supplier
to Industrial and Aerospace Manufacturers
HRP developed a customized EMIS for a worldwide carbon and
graphite product manufacturer. The EMIS stores all facility
environmental, health and safety compliance data covered
under the OSHA, RCRA, CWA, CAA, and EPCRA Programs. The project
involved the following:

Researching
and conducting an inventory of internal procedures and
processes.

Customization
of a Document Management Module to be accessed by on
site health & safety staff.

Customization
of a Compliance Calendar Module designed for task and
deadline scheduling and tracking.

Customization
of a Material Safety Data Sheet Module to allow
hazardous materials information to be accessed by all
internal departments.

Development of
a module to manage over 75 training programs ranging
from environmental, health & safety, construction, and
quality assurance.
International
Manufacturer of Optical and Electronic Connectors
HRP is in the process of developing a customized EMIS that will
be accessed by multiple facilities throughout the country. The
EMIS will include a Document Manager, a Compliance Calendar and
an MSDS Manager. The major goals of the project are as follows:

Replace an
existing system with HRP’s EMIS package.

Retain the
functionality of the present system in the EMIS Document
Manager, Compliance Calendar and MSDS Manager.

Incorporate
previously developed databases into the EMIS framework.
-
Incorporate
all existing digital files such as scanned images and
document links.
-
Provide a
source of technical support and development assistance.
