DOT Hazardous Materials Transportation Refresher Training

DOT regulations 49 CFR 172.700 require all ''hazmat'' employees to be trained or re-trained at least every three years. Hazmat employees include anyone who labels containers, marks containers, loads or unloads vehicles, completes shipping papers, or transports hazardous materials by vehicles, water, rail, or air.

This comprehensive half-day training seminar, which is designed for entry level and experienced hazmat employees, will cover various regulatory segments of the Hazardous Material Regulations.

Key training topics include:

  • What is a DOT hazardous material?

  • Proper DOT shipping name identification

  • Packaging and marking the package

  • Placarding and labeling requirements

  • Shipping papers

  • Safety and emergency response information

RCRA Hazardous Waste Management Refresher Training

HRP's fast-paced seminar is designed to provide both entry level and experienced environmental managers with a comprehensive review of state and federal hazardous waste regulations. The half-day seminar assists industry in meeting their annual RCRA training requirement.
