HRP Associates Inc. assists commercial, institutional and
industrial facilities in identifying energy saving opportunities and
implementing strategies to realize the potential savings.
The majority of work is funded through demand side rebates provided
by utilities and (within New York) NYSERDA grants and incentives.
HRP has a staff of trained energy specialist that provide the
following services:

Typically, we begin by conducting a comprehensive energy audit, which includes a review of site operations, historical energy bills, and energy consuming equipment (i.e. boilers, furnaces, motors, fans, lighting, office equipment, etc.). The collected information is compared with national averages of similar buildings and operations to identify energy savings opportunities. Next, each of the identified energy savings opportunities is ranked based payback and return on investment financial analysis. The audit and financial analysis is documented within a report, which is submitted to the client.
Once
energy saving projects are selected, HRP works with the client to identify
un-biased suppliers of energy products and services and develops
strategies for the purchase of energy. In
addition, if necessary HRP has a working relationship with several
Performance contractors that have the ability to install and finance
larger projects such as furnace replacement.
Throughout the process, HRP identifies available grants and
incentives to reduce the cost of implementing the energy audit and
implementing equipment upgrades.
